Yes Yuri does mean lesbians, but when it is used in the case of GL media, it also includes the homoerotic part of the relationship (showing sex scenes and all that)
Shojou-ai on the other hand, doesn't and is only about the romantic relationship of two girls
Also yes, shojou-ai has that meaning in japan BUT it has a completly different meaning with western audiences, as they rather use it for as I previously said, soft GL and instead use Lolicon for loving girls in a pedophillic way
And as I said I might be wrong tho cuz there have been some midly sexual scenes that never went further and maybe that counts as yuri what do I know
Also, there really aren't gonna be any sex scenes I can 100% gurantee that (I was there when Webtoon nuked all the explicit sexual stuff oof) like maybe scenes leading up to it or after it but not during it
