It's not a romance shounen just bc it sprinkles a little in there. It is so he can pass on his ability so it isn't lost. Just bc there is a little romance doesn't mean it becomes about romance it is just a small part of the story

It really depends on the reader.. i also hate it being mixed with romance but i can ignore that part as long as it wont affect much with the plot
