If I was in Aira’s position I would honestly do the same thing she is doing. She was suddenly taken away from everything she loves and told to take responsibility for saving a world where she has no friends... or anyone to rely on, I wouldn’t be surprised that her current state of mind is just dead inside and doing the bare minimum to live on. Sure, Sei found something to do on her own but that was more because of boredom and the fact that Sei actually made some really good relationships in that world. If I was Aira I wouldn’t be enthusiastic about anything especially if everyone hated me and the prince was overprotective which basically doesn’t give opportunities/freedom to meet actual good people. At the same time, she can’t run away from her duties because there are many lives at stake so it’s not like she isn’t working hard, but she isn’t trying to think about doing more because it seems like she simply has zero attachment to that world.

Also sei is an adult with practically no attachment to her previous world while Aria is still a teen, is natural for teens to rely on others as they develop (psychologically and physically) she just doesn't know how to survive on her own yet, even worst in this new world...
    Feel bad for her ╥﹏╥

Exactly. I don’t even think the problem is that she is too dependant because it’s sort of natural she feels that way. The problem is 100% the prince who is making it even worse by not telling her what’s right from wrong and keeping her away from her responsibilities. Even Sei purposefully ran away from hers until she met Hawk and the other knights and revealed her powers. Basically Aira associated with the wrong people up until now.
At the very least I’d like to celebrate the fact that Aira is doing a damn good job at keeping Kyle away from the actual saintess (just imagine the disaster). In fact, the more problems she causes the more it’ll backfire on Kyle and tbh I think she’ll probably be relieved to find out she’s not the saintess (haven’t read the novel, but if I were in her shoes). I really hope her life turns out better when the real saintess is revealed though.

Well I dont really think he is a bad guy either. He is just doing things the wrong way. I mean he does feel reaaaally guilty about separating Aria from her family and friends therefore the overprotectiveness. I think he might be a teen too (probably) thus his immaturity. Well we will see how things develops. Hope the best for the two girls ╥﹏╥

Now that you mention it if he was feeling really guilty about it then his actions sort of make sense. They’re not completely justified, but they make sense. Hopefully he will realise his mistakes and apologise to Sei. And his fiancé. And other people involved.
