tbf in america most cities that late at night are dangerous for women to go by themselves. Usually if you wanna go to the bars safely you should go with friends.
I understand at night as that's usually the time when weirdos go out, but just going outside in the day?? How horribly sad that girls can't just enjoy going outside and have fun in that country.

yeah but in the manga they went out at 9PM, not earlier in the day. to me, if he figured she was gonna do research at night, then it was a reasonable worry.
Norway, but I don't think it's the only country where women aren't in danger when going outside. But it is a pretty good country.
But they did it in the day time. Why would she/he do it in the night time anyway? That's just stupid or a whole other lvl XD Oh well, never know with characters like her/him.
