Some groups offers to teach willing people as long as you have your own computer or photoshop. You just need to find a group who accept beginners. Like GGScans, you might be familiar with them if you read BL, they uploaded on youtube a video tutorial for cleaning mangas.

Lately i've been reading good stories (especially ones that i've taken interest in) that are forever ongoing or that have been dropped mostly because lack of people to do typesets and cleaners, there are times that raws aren't enough to satisty a good read and wish it was translated to further understand the plot, there are lots of willing translators but lacking the aforementioned.
So i decided to want to learn how to do those things and spend my available time typesetting or cleaning for fun, I have a PC that's just collecting dust in the corner since I don't use it much cause i'm mostly using the laptop. In any case, the problem is that i don't know squat about anything such as what do people use to do typeset and cleaning stuff like that. I would very like to earnestly learn the process if anyone is willing to teach me
