Wait so you would be in your second to last year of Middle School which is 14 in Japan. But in America your 14 when you start high school. What the heck education. No wonder are learning system whack.
It’s because in Japan, their middle schools and high schools both only go up to three years each. In the US, middle school is two years while high school is four years.
Oh I see where you're confused. I do agree that the education is lacking but Japans grade system is different. Grades 1-6 are considered elementary, 7-9 Junior high or as we call it middle school, and then 10-12 is high school. I don't know how common it is but there are schools in the US who still have schools going through grades 1-6. So if you're 14 in Japan you would be in 9th grade freshman for the US but 9th junior high/middle school for Japan.
Middle school in the US is 3 years. Grades 6-8.

I seen alot of diss towards Aira-chan but let’s not forget that she comes from an only child family and is still only 16. 16 is freshmen in highschool in Japan and she comes from a loving home, as it says receiving unconditional love from her parents. She is still not well equipped to handle an overly possessive stupid prince, as her first of contact is the prince. She suddenly doesn’t have her friends or family to rely on and in an unfamiliar environment. If it were me, 16 year old me could recognize the toxic behavior of the prince, but that is because I come from a broken family with a narc mom. I had to become strong. She didn’t have that experience.
