Slut is basically just another word to shame people, same as calling someone a bitch, a whore, a vamp, etc. Some people like to talk down about others to make themselves feel better. It's all about negativity. Making your own choices in life is all that matters, whether you sleep with everyone you like or no one at all. :)

"Slut" is one of those words that reflects worse upon the person who uses it than the person whom it's intended to hurt, and, unless it's used ironically between friends who kid around with each other, it is always used with the intention to hurt.
when do someone becomes a slut? i read that word alot on this site. To be honest i have never really thought anyone- fictional characters or real people to be sluts- to me they are just people with high libdos who enjoys sex and are free about their sexual desires, (wish i could be like that but i don't like the chances of getting stds or pregnant even with protection), so it always puzzles me when i read that. I mean is it such a bad thing to enjoy sex and to be free about your desires that those people need to be described with such a negative word?
