Mielle pushes her father down the stairs and he gets stuck in a coma for a while I believe. She accuses Aria of doing it, but in the end it didn’t work out. Mielle goes to prison and her brother works as a servant in the castle. Mielle ends up killing her brother accidentally and she is put on death row. The count wakes up (or he had woken up before the death of his children, kinda forgot) but since both his children are dead, he commits suicide.

I personally won’t reveal how Mielle kills her brother, it’s a pretty interesting part of the story imo (≧∀≦)

so it’s only Aria, her mom, and her maids in the end. along with her love interest ♡

Omg I at least thought Mielle had some decency to not harm her own family. That is such disgusting behavior lol. Btw thank you for explaining. It is perfect that Aria's mother is still alive and well at the end. I honestly hoped Mielle would just be a dumb harmless bitch without her maids or Oscar's sister doing things for her. I did not expect for her to do that to her father and brother AT ALL. (⊙…⊙ )

SPOLIER..... I read the novel too and I think the dad woke up before they had died. Not that sure through cause I didn’t completely finish the novel.

But adding on the the trial thing. Miele tried to accuse Aria by putting her at the crime scene. But the prince came and saved her with his “transportation magic”? I’m still a little confused on that part. So when she goes to trial she tells the court it’s impossible for her to do the crime because she was with the prince in another place for a couple of days. Mielle brings in two maids as a witness and they said they saw Aria. And found the bracelet that the prince gave to her on the steps. But the prince proof the bracelet was fake (idk how). And the maids apologized for lying and said Mielle told them to do it. So Mielle ends up in jail while her brother tries to get her out of jail. Which he does I believe. And she goes back home and more things happened.

The trail was my favorite part of the novel. So interesting XD
