Its very annoying. Do these people think readers go out and stalk and murder people because of these stories? Or rape randomly cos of it? Smh, they need to question their own morality if they think others do it cos of fiction. Maybe theyre the one easily swayed thats why they think others are too.
I know like there are tags and reviews and comments. People talk about what happens in the book. It’s not that hard to figure out if there is going to be those things. Although you have to be honest some yaoi romanticizes rape. Not like KS but others definitely
Some yes, specially those tagged romance but you rarely see people throw hate on those because they like it however in obviously darker mangas with those tags, i see so many whiners and theyre really annoying. I dont see people complaining in Twitter a lot of romance novels with thise however with obvious tags like killing stalking and other horror, psychological themed, they all go attacking authors saying they should die or how disgusting they are for writing stories like that. Some of them even received death threats and harrassment for a dark fiction they made and it isnt just right. Tbh people shouldnt even read it and move on if they dont like it, they arent the audience these stories are for.
Also they dont throw hate on it because they "like it" cos they have the obvious double standard in the stories. Which is just plainly annoying.
Dumbasses reads horror and psychological and thinks murder, rape and stalking are romanticized. Reads tragic and thinks depression is romanticized. Reads yaoi, psychological and smut tag, rape is romanticized. And turns attacking the author for this reason. Really, if you dont like it, dont read it. -_-
