Okay for example, there is literally a manga called "my brother can't be this cute!" With incest in the tags and people were rating it 1 star and commenting about how gross it was and how disappointed they were that it was incest like ??? What?? What else could you have possibly expected and why would you choose to read something you clearly were not okay with from the start?

I just went to the page of ireadphotos, she who wrote “HE BECAME A TEACHER TO LOOK AT LITTLE BOYS YOOOOO PEDOPHILE”. I was curious at what kind of manga this person reads, seen as how they were so furious at this one & i was very very confused.
I only had a quick look through the read stuff & the first highly positive comment was for: “Bradherley no Basha” manga which she wrote “Fucking amazing holy shit”. But it shows real graphic pedophiles, in a large gang, on a young orphan girl who had been tricked into thinking she was to be in opera, no questions there like here either (kinda wish i never saw it to be honest).

It's 100% confusing and it also reminds people who complain about yaoi sexualizing rape or other immoral actions that it's VERY common in het as well. This isn't new at all and it isn't specific to yaoi.
thats good but I prefer to read the review first because sometimes some stories are more disturbing for me, so for my poor heart its good to get a hint, I think. but some comments are totally inapposite.

the story was fine, he wasn't a pedo- he clearly rejected the kid people are claiming he thirsted over and was scared to death when he was pinned down. If you aren't mature enough to be able to separate your personal morals from a work of fiction to be able to address the story itself and rate it for what it is and not whether or not you agreed with the morals, you shouldn't be reading nor rating it.
Rating a sweet and cute story like this a 1 star JUST because you think that he could be a pedo at some point(which he isn't, he's dating a grown ass man and stated more than once he'd never date a student and that he isn't a criminal), is like rating the movie Heathers a 1 star because minors have sex in it or it involves a sociopathic homicidal teenager. If a good work of fiction depended only entirely on following what is ethically or politically correct, most of what is available today would be gone and the world would be an incredibly boring and close-minded place.
