There's manga/manhwa on here that are 'shounen-ai' and not BL related at all, and it's clear that it won't have any s*x scenes at all. It's best to let new readers find out for themselves, because keeping the yaoi tag will make many people believe this is a yaoi. It should be removed, Koogi has already stated that this is NOT a yaoi.
Did I say it was?... You clearly didn't read correctly or didn't paid attention. I said that there is also a type of BL 'shounen-ai' that people clearly know won't have yaoi included and there is some manga/manhwa on here that aren't yaoi/shounen-ai at all. So from this, it should already be known to many people that this manhwa isn't a yaoi at all. Just because it includes homosexual behavior doesn't mean it's always going to be a yaoi/shounen-ai. Read accurately please.
it's well known that yaoi revolves around the sexual and romantic relationship of two or more men. I think the need to show this has homosexual behavior is completly unncessary, there's just sex, no need to say it's gay. Also, due to those tags in here and Lezhin, people actually ship the main characters and consider their relationship as good. This way of thinking might affect future relationships they have.
even though this has homosexual sex, doesn't mean its yaoi, since the term implies a romantic, and its as simple as taking out that tag because it may lead to serious misunderstandings. if you want to say there's sex in the series, just put a smut tag in it, doesn't matter if its gay or not. what i mean by the misunderstandigs is that people think these is a real love relationship, and this type of thinking may affect them in their futures
Why do you think that Lezhin put a BL , but took it out of the Bl ranking system? Also no yaoi doesn't/only include romance , it's litteraly the definition (im french so this is a translation):The yaoi (や お い?), designates in Japanese popular culture a genre of works of fiction centered on sentimental and / or sexual relations between male characters.
the only true definition of the term and the genres of the series that matters is the one of the author, and she says it isn't yaoi so i think platforms must respect that. Also, this series doesn't revolve around their sexual, disgusting interactions so it isn't really needed. However, my most important reason for demanding the tag to be taken out is the SERIOUS MISUNDERSTANDIGS the tag may include, because i've read way too much comments in social media shipping the main characters, which is undoubtedly disgusting and dangerous. I think people's sanity and understanding of the series is way important than a tag.
They didn't mention anything of changing people's understanding at all, stop making assumptions. I think that the yaoi tag will make people have misunderstandings and make them believe this is a yaoi. I understand that the yaoi tag is likely there to let people know there will be homosexual behavior in it, however, it will also cause people to mistake this as a actual yaoi which is also the reason many teenagers are shipping them. mpeleaz408 explains it better than me, so you should try to at least learn and try to understand even if it won't change your mind or anyone else's. Now, you should try to emphasise on YOUR trying.
In your answer you're literally saying the yaoi tag causes people to think this is an actual yaoi hence why teenagers ship them. I'm arguing that removing the tag will NOT change this people will continue to ship them. I didn't bother with your wishy washy answer mpleaze explained it perfectly and I acknowledged that knowing where they're coming from. There's a reason why I said you should emphasise on your trying. I'm not entertaining this any longer
THIS ISN'T YAOI! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE
