Hm...I guess it’s because I chose to enjoy those small moments, rather than the hole plot (a well developed plot is always gold tho). Like when it was fluffy, or when they made the scene amusing to read or exaggerated their actions to a laughable point. Oh, and baby Buyl, yup, baby Buyl is the main reason~

People gripes A LOT about the uke
Reread the first 20 chapters. Uke is poor and uneducated (doesn't finish high school) all his life he thought that he's and alpha (test result during childhood said he is alpha).
He have non consensual heat sex several times with the seme (chapter 2-3 uke have first heat without heat suppresant medicine, chapter 9-10 uke under influence of heat inducing drug) and raped multiple times by the seme outside of heat time even after promising that he won't touch the uke (chapter 13-14, 18-19).
Ppl called the uke gold digger but forget that at first uke intend to pay back the seme but the seme refuse.
Seme is controlling and possessive and he isolate the uke. Uke is not allowed to have a job without his permission (chapter 12, 21), uke not allowed to live by himself or live with uke's friend (chapter 15, 18), seme run background check to uke's friends, when uke meet with friends seme got angry, when uke try to get away from the seme...seme use his alpha power to force the uke to stay by the seme side (chapter 18). Seme doesn't allow uke to have abortion (chapter 20)
Uke finally agree to keep the baby in change for money with written contract similar to baby surrogate contract. But in the end it is revealed that the seme won't follow the contract and intend to force the uke to stay by his side, causing the uke to run away without taking the contract money (uke imagining the worst thinking that seme want to keep him as baby factory).
Seme doesn't communicate well with the uke. Most of his tender gestures and loving words happens when uke is unconcious/sleeping/during uke's heat when uke is out of his mind or only in seme's mind (his inner thought).
It's not helping that the seme's right hand beta man hate the uke's with passion. The beta's actions and words sometimes creating more trouble and complications.
I think uke is an inexperienced omega not in the right state of mind (denial stage) meet with seme who is unprepared to handle relationship with a late bloomer recessive omega (seme is young, rich, popular alpha who usually only have casual relationship with betas). They meet at the wrong place, wrong time.. they are a train wreck and sometimes you can't move your eyes off of a horrible train wreck.
Ok so please don't get mad of this but, the characters are trash (especially the bottom, he's just a horrible person), they don't love each other (it's a dependency and an obsession) there's sexual abuse and zero character development. So pretty people, i wanna know why people loves it so much ~.~
