why don't authors understand that their female audience doesn't want stereotypical "weak, whiney, annoying, boring" female characters. women are NOT weak. we can be strong too, and no, we don't need to adapt masculine characteristics to do so. we are strong in our own way. we need better role models in fiction.
ALSO we need better female friendship rather than some jealous bitch always trying to tear the MC down. losing friendship over romantic relationships is never worth it.
