so basically I think they exposed the fact that sid is using the compass to do some other shit other than what cain asked him to do. So cain was asking for sids answer based off of what the doctor told him. This caused sid to attack which let cain know(I think) what was going on and that sid was betraying him :(

Sid was a traitor and this is basically the episode where cain finds out the doctor asked sid if he had the compass and he didn't because he gave it to the other guy so sid was like you know what and started attacking but cain is MAD so he won't likely get away.
