I personally can't stand it, cause when I. See the name different it makes it really difficult to associate that character to that name, it also take three times as long to associate with it
Or another for me to put it would be it ruins my train of thought, being out of the story and back to reality,

in the novel, he's called 'Jared' but the other names remained the same. I was so confused and I kept rereading the manga to search for a ’Jared' but I quickly realized they were talking about Gerald
