Eh, i was annoyed with the both of them. The husband was dense and oblivious, but he has the more understandable (imo) reactions towards the wife's accusations. I commend the wife for being upfront in the first half but the latter half had me smh when she blindly believes the secretary's words. Not to mention, she jumps to conclusions a bit too much. It's normal to be insecure but a non-accusatory discussion between both parties is best when you want to confront your feelings.

Communication and trust — it goes both ways.

I can understand why she blindly believes the secretary in the second half. When you've tried as hard as you could to get the attention of the person you love and they're not reacting/saying anything about it, you get exhausted and hurt by it and you, in a way, just give up and believe things that you really hope aren't true. ┗( T﹏T )┛

Agreed! At some point it gets exhausting when one partner is doing all the work just to have their efforts be in vain. When all you do is give give give, and there’s nothing to take, of course you’ll throw in the towel and say enough is enough. Know your worth and walk away
