they wont really officially date till the future when they're adults and that goes for both couples... it's just really slowburn. the author has confirmed they are all endgame so I wouldn't worry <3. the feelings are mutual (and that goes for both couples) at the moment but for moment in theyre in their younger years & they all have the vibes of couples who are already together but nothing too deep happens cause the author probably wants to save that for later. patience is key with this story. I think theres an unsaid kind of understanding between them that they're just going to take it slow, whatever it is that they are. You can tell Xi has some still-developing feelings for Jian Yi. It wont happen immediately, Xi respects him enough to give it real thought
When Jiang Yi confessed to Zhang Xixi and Xixi kissed him on the forehead, why did the author decided to like just forget about it. What's that supposed to mean? He acknowledged the feelings?? But what about his feelings for Jiang Yi? I was seriously looking for a development but author dodged it. I like the friendship of them 4 so much but istg if the author won't even make it clear that they're dating at the end.
