so, dokja turned into a demon king, and if i remember correctly. This is how to kill him.. the one that he loved is the one who had to kill him. Everyone attacked, but Yoon had the last blow. Reply to both. Spoiler warning!

Kim Dokja is a self-sacrificing fool and tends to always find a way to cheat the system in some way or form. As for the him dying from somebody he loves most, he himselfs interprets the message that it was vague and was not a 'someone' but his group. If I remember correctly, that is. But then Kim Dokja himself is unreliable narrator since the most of the novel is written in first person. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Dokja always tries to find a way to survive. He has read more than 1,000k+ chapters, and he uses the information to his advantage and finds ways around some rules. So not really cheating, but more like cunning ig. And don't feel sorry for not understanding! I'm trying to be vague about what will happen yet answer some spoilers which might make things more confusing haha ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

    Spoiler...

I believe Yoo really was the one person Dokja loved the most. It is explained that reading Yoon's story was the only reason he kept himself together while growing up, so Yoon was like his closet friend and emotional support for many years. And inside the scenarios, Dokja also started to get to know the real Yoon and they became comrades, so the affection grew even more. It is wholesome bromance that many believe, inclusing me, was getting romantic. BUT THAT'S JUST A THEORY.

    Just saying.... A litle spoiler...

Of course he loves him the most. Yoo joonghyuk is his favorite character after all. Just put yourself in dokja's shoes...

You are getting bullied all your life. You have no mother and father to support you. All your relatives treats you like trash. You have no friends. (Dokja is depressed and actually committed suicide). Then you found a novel. It became your support for years. The MC of the novel became your favorite. The novel and your favorite character keep you going. You keep on living because of them. The novel and your favorite character prevents you to commit another suicide. That's how much dokja loves the novel and his favorite character. They are his only support in all of his hellish life.

    spoiler

It's implied that he does get revived because the remaining 1% is from us, the reader of the story. Don't read past this story if you don't want to be HEAVILY spoiled. I'll be discussing the last few chapters of the story.

    NOVEL SPOILERS BEFORE DISCUSSION

It's not that he's dead, his soul(?) was scattered in different parts of the universe. There are many reincarnated Dokjas in multiple world lines because of this. It's like this, Dokja took over the role of the Oldest Dream/Most Ancient Dream. He used his bookmark ability to create an avatar of himself. 49% of his memories leaves with the crew, while the remaining 51% stays to watch over the world-lines. If no one is 'reading the story', then this story that continues on won't exist.

The crew finds out about it, they do a mass regression to save the 51% Dokja. Lots of shit happened in between that I won't get into detail such as the revelation in YJH's 0th turn, who the 4th wall is, who tls123 is, etc. But the important thing to note is that shit went wrong when the crew tried to save 51% Dokja.

Their new plan is to spread the work Sooyoung wrote (she made dokja promise to read her next novel) in multiple dimensions/world lines. If by any chance reincarnated Dokja from another world reads their story, they'll be able to collect stories/memories that helps them save Dokja who's currently in a coma.

The manuscript is basically Dokja's life (starting from the start of the scenarios aka this novel, ORV) based on the memories of the crew and other people. However, only one person can spread the work through multiple world lines-- Yoo Joonghyuk.

    PERSONAL THOUGHTS

In my opinion, it's heavily implied that Dokja woke up. His fables started to continue a few moments after YJH (Joonghyuk) went back to Earth. Based on the stories Sooyoung compiled, they managed to 'rebuild' Dokja to 99%. However, due to complications, she never got to send the 'conclusion' of the story. YJH admitted that he attempted to write the conclusion (they all expected him to and that's why Sooyoung was angry at him for not doing so) but decided not to. I think the reason why YJH chose not to write the ending is because whatever conclusion he might've read would only create a 100% IMAGINATIVE Dokja based on what others thinks of him. It's not possible to fully know a person from hearsay. Even if we're fully exposed, there's the 'remaining 1%' that nobody would ever know about.

I think it was the right decision to leave the ending of the novel Sooyoung wrote a blank. If there's an unware Dokja/reader out there that reads the 'unfinished' story, there's a chance that THAT Dokja, or we, the reader would imagine the conclusion on their own. This serves the last 1% piece missing in their 99% Dokja. The question isn't "does he get revived"...He did. The real question should be, "Is he the 100% Kim Dokja?" In my opinion, hell yes. This is based on MY imagination which means it's also the reader's/Dokja's imagination.
