honestly just over plots like this because they're always never do their own plots justice and ruin it for the sake of keeping the "audience" happy with a romanticized conclusion of a very disturbing series of events. It just bad writing. After everything if readers can only take away that Dohyun is a fault for his own kidnaping, abuse, and rape in the efforts for him to fall "in love" with Sungho once more instead of it being upfront this is stockholm syndrome then again it's just bad writing. But I SHOULD expect that at this point when reading a BL.
Its terrifing that people hate Dohyun more than Sungho. The guy as a teen was victim of abuse. He was frequently hungry, he went days without eating. He wasnt loved by anyone. His parents left him, his uncle hated him and even beated him. That kid didnt even understand how relationships work. In comparison Sungho had loving,wealthy family and pretty much had everything.
Yes, he was naive and innocent as many children from good houses.
I'm not blind to Dohyun's manipulations. But the guy was afraid that the only precious person in his live gonna leave him like everyone else. He didnt rape Sungho. He always could have refused, Dohyun gave him that chance. He had that option. Sungho was really unhealthy obsessed with Dohyun even then, yeah there was a vice versa but its easier to understand in Dohyun's case; we have to assume that all in a Sungho was also really lonely kid and that's the main reason).Tbh Dohyun probably thought that Sungho didnt mind sex and enjoyed it the same way he did so that's why he was so shocked and hurt when Sungho called the whole act at the end of chapter 'disgusting'. His heart broke.
I dont say it's the most moral thing to do (Dohyun's actions) because of course it's not.
But still please dont compare it to kidnapping and raping someone SEVERAL times.
Also stop comparing and putting as equals actions of teen boy which in the end aren't so trauamtic if one participant wasn't completely unstable, to adult's (tortures, repetitive rapes, sexual assaults, arm breaking, kidnapping). Like can you imagine... You had a friend/bf/gf whatever but because of many factors you broke this relationship, even because of selfishness... And that person did some horrible things in the future... You would be still saying..... Both of them are at fault...like ?????
