Some people's compared this to Killing Stalking (which yes, kidnapping and craziness), but I think I can put into words what I feel is different about it. (Also this is not meant to bash KS, I actually liked it).

These are both messed up people, but they feel very real and reasonable in their decisions. Not saying it's good, but I can connect with the characters in that I understand why they do these things, which I didn't always feel with Killing Stalking.
Dohyun was selfish and really has used and manipulated people all his life (even in the beginning when he was trying to scam the girl). Sungho is more tragic, because he was relatively innocent, but he's idolized what it meant to be with Dohyun and has created his own cage where he needs Dohyun in his life. What I love about this story is the self awareness for these characters. They see the horribleness in themselves and the relationship, but keep selfishly pursuing it. Dohyun has gone full Stockholm syndrome, but I also think he's never had someone 'love' him like this, and he doesn't want to let it go. Sungho has completely understood the situation and himself. He knows he was willing to break Dohyun to have him, and that's not good for dohyun. But he can no longer live without him. It's pretty tragic. But these weird redeemable qualities of theirs has given me a lot of love for the characters, which usually doesn't happen for me.

Sorry for the rant, I just love this so much, and I trust the author in their ending choice. In my perfect world, I'd get them therapy.

very well said, (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ I also love it very much and the same as you I think this is very different with KS.

Coz with KS I could only rack my brains why the killings are happening but can't seem to understand or feel connection with the characters and they at times look just like your normal everyday psycho criminals.

However, here in warehouse there's actually love and loneliness behind everything albeit the tragic and dark thing they have to go through and that's the reason why I can really connect with what they are feeling and thinking; earning my love for the characters <3
