The most recent update is Chapter 23 of Volume 7. But numerically that chapter is supposed to be Chapter 29. That's why you're confused...

All the chapter are uploaded in perfectly correct order. The chapters are just incorrectly named.

Volume 1 has Chapter 01 to Chapter 03
Volume 2 has Chapter 04 to Chapter 08
Volume 3 has Chapter 09 to Chapter 13
Volume 4 & Volume 5 have Chapter 14 to Chapter 24
Volume 6 has Chapter 25 to Chapter 28
Volume 7 has Chapter 29 to Chapter 35
Volume 8 has Chapter 36 onwards...

The author decided to rename the Chapter numbers from Volume 4 onwards. So, the first chapter of Volume 4, which was supposed to be Chapter 14 was called as Chapter 8. Therefore...
Volume 4 & Volume 5 have Chapter 14 to Chapter 24
Which was renamed by author, as following :
Volume 4 & Volume 5 have Chapter 08 to Chapter 18

In short, in Volume 4 & Volume 5 :
Chapter 08 = Chapter 14
Chapter 09 = Chapter 15
Chapter 10 = Chapter 16
Chapter 11 = Chapter 17
Chapter 12 = Chapter 18
Chapter 13 = Chapter 19
Chapter 14 = Chapter 20
Chapter 15 = Chapter 21
Chapter 16 = Chapter 22
Chapter 17 = Chapter 23
Chapter 18 = Chapter 24

Similarly for Volume 6,
Volume 6 has Chapter 25 to Chapter 28
