Well the theory was that Alex was the one that imprinted Hyun. The "imprinted" and the "marker" has a connection, the marker can feel the pain of the other. That's what happened to Alex. Hyun only called Ivan, and Ivan asked where Hyun is but Hyun fainted. Then Ivan shows up out of nowhere so he can for sure tell where Hyun. I'm also confused. But maybe, since Hyun (before he started dating Ivan) had been accepting doses of pheromones from Alex and Ivan, then maybe it mixed. ┗( T﹏T )┛

But wait if it was true that Alek is the marker, then it means what Ivan and Hyun felt for each other was sincere, and not just because of the imprint. BUT ALSO, it means alek took a liking to hyun in the first place (christmas party) wow such plot twists.
The simple answer, is "because of love" (▰˘◡˘▰)
I like this plot twist but (if it's true) I dislike it too, because I'm happy for the true love between Ivan and Hyun, but also poor Alek, it would be really sad x(
Okay but.. why did the mark fade when Alex bit him? What if it was him that actually marked hyun and not Ivan oop
