In my opinion strong rejections are actually nicer then leading the person on. In stories like these you rarely see someone that's actually rejected firmly instead of a pansy ass rejection that makes them believe they still have a chance.
I didn’t think Jeanette liked him like that. I mean they were raised together so it’s kinda weird but I get where ur coming from.
