Yes I would also love it if they talked it out. But then again this was a pretty realistic approach as well since he was honestly never "father material" to begin with (￣∇￣") They were more like friends than parent/son. He does care about him though, it's just that he shows it in a different way than you would except from a parent? Idk Also him being a young inexperienced dad doesn't help lol
Man I thought I was gon hate this cuz of the art style but damn it’s actually soo funny I couldn’t stop laughing and the secondhand embarrassments were frI absolutely looooveee Jesse and Andy’s relationship soo much. I don’t rlly find anything wrong with chase and Joel’s relationship but I hateddd Joel as a dad. I actually was looking forward to them talkin things out after the accident but it just got shoved under the rug like whaaat??? It just seemed like Joel didn’t even care abt his son at all and it still makes me mad til now
