It just meant he wasnt gonna give him his blood/wasnt gonna let him feed from him since later they talk about feeding only from blood bags. Not actually quit being kin just like no food for you type of thing

I've been mulling this over for a bit and I can't understand what it means(currently on 73, and probably will finish today )
What did it mean when Minhoon said he'd quit being kin? They stayed together in the sense that they're a couple, so what changes when they stop being 'kin'? I don't understand :c
