Even if it is for now... I have a feeling it will change in love....this a reincarnation story...and obsession is coming from love hidden deep within the heart... all the faults of previous life will change in a good manner as long as our MC falls in love with the King ... I believe atleast love has the power to change people.
Gonna have to disagree with you there. This is tagged under psychological, not romance, so to rely on “love” to fix this mess is foolish. Unless you mean unhealthy obsession?
The best you’ll probably get is a one sided “love” from the emperor. The emperor may be so whipped that he listens to whatever the uke says, allowing him to avoid those people dying. It will prevent the loop of reincarnation (if I remembered the rules for it correctly), but not use “love” to make this story a happy ending.
The end result will most likely allow the uke to finally truly rest in peace, no more reincarnation and his hatred settled. He’ll probably be the one to kill the emperor.
Or, he’ll continue his reincarnation, not being able to prevent such events from happening.
