It seems to me they just use the names of gods and what they represent for these characters..
But what golden disc are you talking about here? And how could it be Thoth?
Ik some versions of the story say Thoth, and some just say he gave birth to a fkn golden disc or sum. I might ofc be wrong, that's just what my not very extensive research has led me to think at least.
Based on mythology, when Set gets impregnated by Horus' semen, a disc forms on his head which some believe is Thoth and how he came into existence
Assuming this mostly follows through with mythology, which it seems to do to an extent, if Set births a fucking golden disc by the end of this I'm out.
