It’s the gochujang. It’s a red chili paste that gets added. Kimchi fried rice is just kimchi with the paste, ham or spam and mixed with rice and usually a fried egg. (Super good)

okay that makes sense bc i was like i know kimchi is not that red but i didnt think about gochujang at all plus its in the morning so i was debating whether or not someone would actually make kimchi fried rice for breakfast lol
