It’s because of his skill ‘Fourth Wall’. Besides acts as a mental barrier skill, it also distorts people’s perception of Kim Dokja. They’re only perceived him as plain or something.

I believe it is because of the diff stories attached to his incarnation body after his revival. It looks pixilated or distorted. I think he mentioned it to Selena Kim while they were on the way to the Gourmet Association gathering
