It's really amazing but it's also really intense. Lots of rape, sadism, abuse, etc. It's an amazing story but also really sad. If you don't have the heart for stories like that, especially ones involving child rape (however briefly), I wouldn't read it. Even though I think it's really well done, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I personally know because they couldn't handle it.
