I think people like this so much despite the bland, barely functioning plot and lack of romance development is because we are tired of rape in omegaverse. We’ll take what we can get. I do truly believe that their characters are both good and I love that they are BOTH charismatic, not just one. If they had date scenes where they meet up and talk and get to know each other first before going to another country thing, the story would’ve had some substance. Is the story a fun and light read? Yes, but I wouldn’t call it good. Will I read it again the future? Probably because it was still fun to read

Ngl this was bad. Like I’ve read way worse but this story really did not flow well. If you’re looking for fluff and stuff, sure read it, but if you’re looking for actual plot and a developed romance then HELL NO (or just a decent read in general).
Legit how did Alec fall for our MC? And how did our MC fall for Alec? There was no progression in their relationship, just sex. They barely got to reveal anything about themselves, only the MC revealed he was a clean freak and that’s it. Where’s the meaningful relationship?
Why did the bro of Alec suddenly just act like that, it seemed OOC and honestly like the author out that there to spice up the plot. There was no reason to do that.
Am I srsly supposed to believe the king of an entire country doesn’t know Sex Ed of male omegas, but can explain the intricate parts of his palace? And he was easily able to access the so called impenetrable Omega Paradise? Like wtf is going on in this story? (And the child really just gonna come out of his butt like that? yiKES)
Sure it’s an unrealistic story, but set up some sort of realistic world building/setting/boundaries when you create an AU, otherwise the world will collapse on itself. (Readers can’t fully immerse themselves in a story and enjoy what they’re reading when there’s huge plot holes like this).
Ik it wasn’t supposed to be anything life-changing: just a basic yaoi omega verse. But I’m triggered that I wasted my time on this since I expected this to be a decent read, not wtv it did end up becoming.
