no,ash chose to bleed to death bcs he knew that eiji was safe andhe thought that even if he went with eiji ,it would only bring eiji harm,he died peacefully,knowing that he loved and was loved

It really hurt tho that prior to the stabbing, it seemed like he was going to take up Eiji’s offer and go to Japan. I‘ve accepted his death bc that was the only way to truly release him from all the pain but a part of me still wishes that he could have gotten a taste of the ordinary, crime-free life in Japan with Eiji even if just for a little bit.
Ash probably didn't seek help after he was stabbed because the person that attacked him (don't remember his name) was avenging shorter’s death and since ash felt guilty for killing his best friend he thought it was fair for him to die....
