Not quite, asami kinda had an agenda and approach fei (not romantically) and did give him a hand because fei was pretty young and kinda lost but fei did start to like him a lot. Asami was a bit ambigious in the begining but i think he stop once he realize fei is really getting attach. Ultimately what he wanted was a business partner not a lover. At least thats my take :D
Oh and asami basically didnt explain himself during that arc and just went back to japan. So fei thought he only approach him to use him and betray him (which was his plan but not the betrayal part). Fei also thought asami has a hand in the death of his foster dad. Fei rape akihito (no excuse! but) because he was still mad angry, hurt, and almost obsessive cuz he trusted and did fell for asami only for him to lie to him and plus asami had spies in his group and stole something important. So he figure he'll hurt asami by defiling akihito.

Yeah, the fact that even after Fei raped Akihito they're all now more or less friends and mates is just really wrong and doesn't feel right at all. But, well... the odd world of manga storytelling...
