I noticed that in the first couple of chapters they are not equal at all.
Yeah I noticed how Arien gets all the favors in the story. I'm not saying you should only favor the boys but I think Arjen should also be equal with her considering they ARE twins after all.
Yeah I'm not saying to favour the boys of the story or anything but it confuses me as to why you would make them twins if they're not going to be treated equally. It would be the same if the twins were both girls or both boys, if they're not going to get the same treatment don't make them twins or might as well just Arien the only character at this point
I wonder if they share their mana and the reason it looks uneven right now is because the sister is more interested in magic than the brother.
I think that's a negative way of choosing to see it. In society, they are both seen as bastard Arien more so than Arjen cause she's female. Within the family she's seen as the more vulnerable and prescious of the two as she is the only sister. However, the creator did a job in creating the characters. If you think about it you'd know that Arjen would never be able to accept their affection and preference if given to him over sister. He would never trust them. However what better way to earn his trust then affection than through the heart of his only companion and sister. The artist is building the story in a way that's beneficial to her main characters.
they are twins but they aren't equal in terms of who the author chooses for Pov. they don't have to change it, its their story after all.. arjen was only added to make this story a bit different, not to priotise making him a strong well fleshed out character (thats just the sad truth) better stop reading if it bothers you now
You're honestly the only comment i read so far that makes sense. If in the future while practicing swordsmanship arjen is less than Arien than I'll think it's unfair(￣∇￣"), but as of now I think it's good. And honestly have you ever seen a Male character in this type of isekai setting(〜￣△￣)〜. No so obviously is could be hard for the author and illustrator to also portray it from arjen POV without some similar references, cause I'm sure of any of you had written this story it'd be the same just be glad that it's still entertaining. Stop dwelling on the fact that Arjen is barely given some MC type screentime. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I'm dropping this story because I highly dislike how unequal the twins are being treated. I thought it would be a unique isekied story about twins being the MC's but it's actually pretty basic as Arjen can't even be considered a main character. If you notice when calling the twins, Arien's name is always said first and Arjen always seems to become a second thought, it happens every time and it truly saddens me. Also with the whole Arjen's mana is half of his sister's also pissed me off quite a bit like why even make them twins if it's going to be like this. I hope the rest of you guys enjoy the story, and goodbye hot 2nd prince *cri*
