Sensei is the youngest
Yh. Besides, some ppl are more aware of things at younger ages than others. The older brother probably understood more about the situation tho and maybe it didn't affect him as much bc he probably felt the responsibility of keeping up traditions with the younger brother abd staying positive

but yeah, the person above (Mar) actually just (also) proved me wrong and yeah, maybe because he is the youngest he actually felt it even more (now I wanna bury my head in a hole, how could I forget he is the youngest???)
I agreed, they carried it in different ways. Sensei couldn't trust ppl and let they in into his life because he felt that who should teach him to love and be loved has abandoned him. If your parents don't love you, who else will? (sorry, English is not my first language)

Ikr? and now I'm confused about their portrayals as kids... was Sensei the smallest kid or the bigger kid? Was he bigger than his big bro even as kids? I'll need to re-read the flashbacks
what i take from this chapter is that Sensei's parents abandoning them like that left a huge void in him (the younger brother was maybe too young to get the same impression at the time) and this is the origin of his behaviour towards love (questioning it, doubting it, denying it). I even thought that the problem was that Sensei didn't love himself, therefore nobody could love him. I'm glad they talked it out and are now together (otherwise I would be the one left with a void inside my soul)
