It's probably bc of the poor translation, there is better one (even 2 versions) and quality at readsnk site, I highly recommand it, specially the "raw" one, it's understandable then. :)

I am genuinely confused I thought all that talk was speculation back in the 90s but was was that segment about giving birth to a child in chapter 130 and eren saying to pass it down? I’m confused who’s talking. I actually believe eren has feelings or holds historia deep in his heart while he thinks mikasa is more of a family.
