I'm not saying he did everything for mc, im saying that they mutually used each other to get their goals-- however now mc is just kinda throwing him under the bus. she feels healfhearted I guess? she needs to choose how she want things-- she wants be at the top, but its impossible to go to the top without dirtying her hands here and there. but instead she's just ignoring dowun which makes it harder for both of them.
as for his brother, MC also played a part in casting him away, but I do think the punishment was too harsh, and in the end it came back to bite them. it's unfortunate but both mc and dowuns families are fighting for power within each other and against. TT this webtoon just breaks my heart into pieces

MC and dowun were leaning on each other since they needed each other to accomplish their respective goals, however now that mc is becoming what she wanted I feel like shes kinda betraying dowun? as harsh as he was, by following him she got what she wanted. However now she's just making things harder for him by selling the earring, wandering off, and being a little too close with baek han. I feel like she needs to see through what she started, because they were in it together. if she wants to leave dowun to have baek han as her aide she can't just throw dowun under the bus like that. even though dowun gets in the way of her ship, he's definitely done alot of things for her and I don't think that should be overlooked. Even though I am a dowun x MC shipper, I know they probably won't end up together TT I'm sad that he's always painted as the antagonist when he's really just trying to do what he can, which is tragic. he reminds me alot of su won from akatsuki no yona.
