Tbh I never felt good while reading Ken and Hasekura's "love" story. Since day one it feels like Ken only sees Hasekura as a precious friend and nothing more, and all of his romantic actions are only so his friend won't disappear. Hasekura, on the other hand, seems unable to let go of his unrequited love exactly bc Ken won't allow them to put distance between themselves, and he keeps acting in this dubious way, letting Hasekura alway wonder what they are. I wish Hasekura would just find someone who loves him and who he can love back without feeling constantly like they are just friends, even if it means he stops being friends with Ken.
