I agree but i can't help but dislike the mistress bc after all, she is the reason why the protagonist's family was ruined and executed(?) She is a vile woman (〜￣△￣)〜
I understand your perspective, but I feel that they wouldn't be in this predicament if there atleast some amount of decency and maturity in the king . So here is my take-
Queen - Love
Mistress - Indifference
(づ￣ ³￣)づ i totally agree bc the mistress already has all the love of the king although she doesn't have the power of the queen (as said by the female lead) so she shouldn't just butt in the affairs of the kingdom and start a war just bc she is so petty and jealous that she can't even see nor think about her actions and the consequences. I also agree that the king is shitty bc i think that the people are already losing their faith to their king bc of him having a mistress. It's so common a knowledge that i wouldn't be suprised that the neighbouring kingdoms know of his mistress. If he, at least, could pretend to 'love' his wife then i'm sure that the people could be put at ease （￣へ￣）(i agree that he treats the mistress TOO well bc he made her a baroness just a little while after he was married, if that doesn't scream favoritism then i don't know what is. Also, it's a wonder that the citizens haven't heard of him promoting her to a baroness)

Queen: love
Mistress: dislike (bc hate is a strong word)
King: an ant (who has such a small brain that he can't even see the vile-ness of the mistress, who is using him, but has the strength, the power, and the authority of his country (=・ω・=) ╮(￣▽￣)╭ )
Tbh I dont hate the mistress cuz her anger is kinda justified. Any women would be scorned if her lover is being snatched and anger makes one take dumb decisions.
I absolutely love the queen. She is wise, tactful and beautiful. She Carrie's herself with grace and intellect . A well deserved queen.
If anything , that king is absolute garbage. He has absolutely no redeeming qualities. He cant keep his mistress happy nor can he save his marriage with his legally wedded wife. This man is a disgrace and is living off the expense of these womens feelings.
