I think they have a contract where they have to do it once a month, I remember the Duke was agonizing over the fact that he couldn't do it more because he would be abusing the contract or something. So it's definitely possible but I think it's just overwork unfortunately.

yeah, my first thought was pregnancy too, but then I was like wait a moment.. migraine is not really a symptom you usually have when preggo :') so I'm quite sure it's just exhaustion and the duke will be like "no more work for you!"
