I don't think so. The author for goblin slayer writes it like a table top rp.
This whole story was a side quest for the goblin slayer with her as the quest giver(NPC) at the end of the quest she has fulfilled her mission. Like in RP the quest giver/helper after the mission the GM makes them well leave/dissapear/go do something else.
So.. she stepped into the realm of "player" of the world..?
