if you like the anime so much and dislike the manhua, read the novel
Wow,,, that’s long...Anyways, as u probably know both the comic and the anime are based on an amazing novel! The comic is following chronological order, and currently just barely past the half way mark, if I remember correctly.
The anime however removed things from chronological order and placed scenes from the later chapters in season one, probably as a hook to keep people interested so they could further
develop later seasons and worry less about lack of interest.
I personally prefer the comic following chronological order because there’s much more impact when you learn why Jiang Cheng is the way he is. When reading in chronological order you also get a better explanation of their sisters death, and what exactly caused the outburst, something that was glossed over in less detail in the anime.
In conclusion, read the novel because it’s much more detailed and much more lovey dovey (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ !
Seriousl yr the anime is so much better in this I just hate Chiang Jiang I think thts his name anyway the mcs adopted brother but in the anime it showed how close they were and why he grew to hate wei wuxian...it was because he blamed him for the sisters death....the anime is much better and it portrays everything better the drawings r better it also completely explains the mcs past like the whole first season was his past than the second season was a mixture of the past and present......the anime also explains his relationship with the ghost zombie thing when he was alive and the mc and Jiang used to be so close.. tho i still like this.. the anime doesnt really focus on the bl and this helps me indulge in my fantasies more I totally ship it...also watch the anime it's super good I cryed when they're parents died jiang blamed the mc for tht too but he soon realized it wasn't his fault and they got close again tho the sisters death was kind of the mcs fault the sister died protecting him man the animes awesome
