That’s the whole point. She’s supposed to be weak. She was sheltered her whole life and treated like she was retarded by everyone around her. It was to the point that she even wished to die. Nothings wrong with Psyche, she's just clueless but is willing to learn and progress. Medea has a huge advantage compared to her. She was studying her whole life, while psyche was kept in a basement not knowing a single thing about the world.

Of course, shes not a mary sue (i didn't mean theres nothing wrong with her literally, but i think ppl make her out to be far far more worse than she actually is)
But i would like to hear your opinion on her. Not just blatant hating but like a something reasonable. What i see from several comments is that they either misunderstand her or just ignore part of her story to fit their narrative.
