if romance is done well, it's no problem for me. but usually it's done in a poor fashion that overall ruins the original story. for me, i'm reading this for the main character. if the main character's attitude suddenly changes just because he likes a girl and she made him give up on revenge, i would lose my MIND. especially if she (or he) is a poorly written character, ONLY THERE to change the main character. there's just a lot overall that bugs me, it's just better to leave it out.

Well I can't give u the title because I am like Dory ╥﹏╥ (my memory is sucks).....
But I remember the plot and the reason I dropped it. There was one manhwa that have Solo Leveling's vibe. The MC was weak once but then got ability to leveling up easier. It was about dungeon too if I remember it right.
So I read it since the released of chapter 1 (around 8 years ago?).. It had a really good plot and paced well!!
And after so much anticipation of high-action and adventure, there came a girl "wanting to be strong" but keep "needing the MC" to save her.
Tbh, the MC was going to leveling up alone and be a badass like JinWoo but HE NEEDS TO STOP for a while because HE NEEDS TO SAVE HER FKING ASS EVERY SINGLE TIME.
The MC already told her she couldn't make it but that bitch keep coming into the dungeon and be like "I need to coz I wanna be strong" and she'd be cornered by monster and the MC'd fly to her side and save her all over again. And yeah she added crying and bawling too.
The "getting saved by MC" was repeating a few times and starting to get annoying. So I stopped reading it right there right then. So disappointing.

Oh and I forget to add, there was a time when the MC need to fight someone (I forgot if it was an enemy or soon-to-be friend) but he choose to retreat because that bitch was in danger. And it was such an important fighting scene too, like having a real connection to the main problem. But the author choose to prolong the action by making the "save me o' great MC" kinda drama scene ╥﹏╥ I didn't mind once, but twice thrice and more is too much..
That's it. I am sorry for taking this explaination too much and making such a long paragraph.....

Beginning after the end is a light novel turned web comic and so far in the web comic the love interest is currently bearable but when you go to the light novel and read ahead she becomes the most annoying piece of sh!t to ever exist and
*spoilers*
Gets the MC’s father killed because the MC just HAD to go see if she was ok (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Why do people hate the romantic aspect in action manhwas etc
Like it doesn't seem that bad?
