i agree on that. i think artists tend to use it as an excuse to escalate the story and delay the healthy conversations for a ton of chapters so the sexual scenes are frequented. and to draw in a specific type of audience. it also works better when the art is impressive. i cant really understand some authors but i guess you cant expect much especially on bls that focus purely on the sex

I think it's important to separate fiction from reality. If you can't do that then you will continue feeling uncomfortable and disturbed. Since you're a beginner to yaoi then you should read the lighter ones (like all fluff and drama). Read the tags before proceeding to read. As for your question, I don't think you're ready to hear it when opinions of some people already disturbed you that much. Also I've enjoyed a lot of yaoi manga without rape in it.
