imagine being raised by someone your whole life who you genuinely loved and cared only to later find out you were a tool for your brother. getting encouraged at a young age to do it for his sake. you find out all of it was a lie. add on the stressors of rin constantly going against his word and causing problems. yukio constantly having to stand in the middle. theres also the whole period of where yukio was dealing with his eye. then people conveniently forget his torture training and then the actual fact he attempted to take his own life after learning the truth and 'i dont even have anyone i can call family' kfjlkfsdjlksfdj dude i can GO ON.

Yeah but like rin stuck up for yukio too and wanted to protect him their brothers, you shouldn’t even have to ask. I do get what your saying and the age has nothing to do with it, I just always saw him as the more mature brother meaning he’d have to carry a lot of stuff but it shouldn’t be like he’s the leader they should try to work out there differences and become an team. I just hate that he over looked the main goal is to defeat satan and not his brother but who couldn’t blame him? He had to learn that his very own brother is an threat too. Yukio wasn’t talking nonsense when he asked rin to kill him he felt like it was the right thing but rin can’t live without his brother but yukio has dealt with everything on his own so he’s used to it. But It’s most likely that rin will die too if yukio kills him self he also seemed like an person who wouldn’t get processed but evey character has it false’s.

Wait..that, that doensn't even make any sense. .Rin and Yukio BOTH were used as tools. And you're missing the point entirely. Yukio never expressed a desire to fight alongside his brother, he just wanted to control his actions, to prove that he can handle everything without his brother's help, to prove that he's stronger than him. Don't you get it? Yukio never WANTED to be helped or understood. His inferiority complex is such a huge part of his personality that it BLINDS him to everything else around him. During the whole story he disregarded Rin's opinions entirely under the excuse of protection when it really was a dolled up version of envy. He never ONCE wanted to work together, and always acted like it was a huge bother when they did (aka Rin going against his word and messing up his plans). I lost count of just how many times Rin tried talking to him, and tbh at this point I'm just completly fed up with that self-absorbed attitute of his. Rin suffered just as much as him, and thanks to some miracle he's mentally mature enough to put it past him and be kind to other ppl, because it certainly wasn't thanks to his brother.
