Ah, sorry if I misled you. I'm speculating. The novel raws is still ongoing last I check. The romance conflict also haven't started yet.

They finally met the heroine. It's not any earth shattering moment, but it's like "she's here" got hammered in. The heroine seems like a nice girl. There's not yet any romance between hero and heroine but they do show some chemistry. MC also has sympathy and seems to like the heroine. As for how hero feels...there's no insight from him about this.
I dunno if he will be end game, but the Arnold hasn't appear yet. So we'll see..
I'm conflicted too. I felt she deserved better, someone who's totally devoted only to her. But he's the hero, it's not exactly his choice to be the hero. It's not even his choice to be fated to the heroine. So in a way, he is already a good guy, that doesn't need reforming. It's just...fate. And I think, that's what we're grumbling about. That this good man who was devoted to our MC, was somehow fated to be a hero who will have a fated destined partner, and leave our MC behind (/TДT)/
It would have been like that originally, but since our MC got in, some details that weren't shown in the game was she'd to light. It's like, hero is brainwashed to love heroine. They're good people, but a powerful entity seems to be steering them and entwining their fates together, a hero MUST BE with the heroine. I dunno if the manga would show this in another light or gave more details to it. It'll be quite a while before we see it anyway.
I don't know. There's at least 2 candidate, if you've seen the color covers for this manga/novel but I'm either a codfish (not impossible) or the MC doesn't have any significant romantic feelings towards them. As much as I wish she would end up with a better person, the author/artist seems to set up flags for the hero. Just wait and see until Arnold (forgot his name, it's the black hair guy) appear and maybe there's even greater moments with him.
Or just join us in the FA club. Explode, riajuu!!
She won't end up with the hero...
