Internal homophobia is super common!!! Lots of gay people feel like they hate themselves bc they’ve been told that gays is not okay. HOWEVER, it’s not okay that every homophobe is immediately gay in lots of books and movies and so we feel bad for them. No, some people straight up are just ignorant and that shouldn’t be blamed on gay people that feel bad about who they really are!! :(
