I agree. If someone wants to express something they don't like or be critical about the story/characters without being rude, then there is no reason to take it as a personal attack and start cussing them out. You can still like something even if it's flawed or if not everyone else likes it. It'd be boring if we all felt and thought the same way. I love having discussions and debates, but some people become aggressive, start to insult you, or act passive-aggressively snippy.

Ha, ha! Thank you! I just believe being positive all the time and ignoring problems is unhealthy. I am able to criticize and recognize the problems in things I like. I know quite a few people who don't share their thoughts because they don't want to be cussed out or attacked. Also, people who say "Keep your opinions to yourself" or "Nobody cares" make no sense to me; since that person cared enough to respond, and makes it sound like people should be quiet just because they say so.

Aw, thank you! I know BL/Yaoi is fictional, but there are certain tropes or themes that really rub me the wrong way or creep me out. It just gets tiring and kinda depressing when someone bashes me for saying such-and-such main character is wrong or blame a character they hurt for reacting appropriately. I can't help but think that if the character wasn't "hot," a main character, or had some "cute" quirks, that people wouldn't be so dismissive. For every doukyuusei (not sure if that's the right spelling, but the one with Kusakabe and Sajou), there's a flod of rapey stories where the "bottom" suddenly goes from strong to weak af. I just wanna read cute gay manga, dammit! ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
