Better couples..

Let me start this off by saying I AM NOT hating on this manga AT ALL, just giving my perspective on this. Although Hyesung & Dijon are cute. I feel as though their assigned genders is a bigger reason in why they are in a relationship. If the couple hadn’t become soul mates or if hyesung hadn’t gotten pregnant....would they even be together? As well as the fact that hyesung’s heats and just being stereotypical a omega x alpha is what attracted them to each other. If he wasn’t an omega the alpha would’ve never noticed him. Which makes me think their love has more to do with Dijon being an Alpha & Hyesung being an Omega. That’s basically what started this whole story. Which isn’t to say all omega verses aren’t real love! Sometimes the love is their. When the Alphas express that the significant other being an alpha or omega isn’t the reason the love them. But in stories like this where heats and pheromones control the story line i’m not convinced. I feel like Fargo tries to plug in the obviously missing chemistry with sex. Where as Heesoo & Dojun have REAL chemistry. They don’t have heats causing uncontrollable sex & moods, just plain love. I will give it to the creator that the ending is cutee, and byul is adorable but the story, plot, & just what happens throughout the magna is lacking. someone please share your thoughts on this!:)

I agree with you. When a webtoon already has several chapters when I start reading it, I always read a chap towards the end. I came across the side story with Heeso and loved it! I was so disappointed when I realized they weren’t the main couple! Personally I did not like the main story, but I come back sometime to see if there are news chaps with Heeso.

Lowkey agree going into this I knew it would be a typical omegaverse story but I had wished there was development on their relationship (although there has been some) but then again the whole relationship started backwards so it kinda makes sense why they're still emotionally at a standstill.

I feel more like yeah their relationship started bc they’re alpha and omega but that their relationship has developed and they,ve come a long way and really fell in love with each other during the time they spent and the things they experinced and IMO I feel the chemistry between them.
That’s just my take on it.

I actually don’t see it that way. Yes, they did come across each other because they are omega and alpha. Dojin notice Hyesung because Hyesung went in heat. The thing is, Dojin isn’t an alpha who’ll normally take an omega in heat home. He took Hyesung home because Hyesung claimed he is an alpha. Heesoo even said so before that Dojin never care for any omega, more so hated omega, so why did he care so much for Hyesung. In my opinion, if the omega in heat that day isn’t Hyesung then Dojin would probably leave them as it is. Dojin alpha pheromone has caused many omega to went in heat in the past but he straightened them out and leave as it was nothing to his concern.

Moreover, Hyesung has never show any attractions towards Dojin because he is good in bed. More so, Hyesung hated Dojin’s gut. He had been rejecting Dojin all those time. So, Dojin being good in bed isn’t the reason Hyesung stay with him. Throughout the storyline in the beginning, Hyesung had never showEd any reaction such as feelings for Dojin except for the scene where Hyesung accidentally met his father at the restaurant. After witnessing how Dojin deals with the situation and how he managed to soothe Hyesung nervousness away with his words and actions, he fell for Dojin.

I still have doubts whether Hyesung will come back to Dojin or not if they have not bonded because Hyesung did came back after learning they’ve bonded. However, I don’t think they love each other because of their gender. The reason is because if the omega is not Hyesung then Dojin would never marry. The same goes for Hyesung. I don’t think Hyesung love Dojin because of him being an alpha.

thanks for sharing your opinion! I do agree that some sort of relationship developed over time but I question if Hyesung felt trapped when he found out they were bonded. That is of course not the situation now because they both seem happy and have a kid. But I still don’t feel that it’s fair. Hyesung doesn’t have a choice, which I feel is very important. It was either he stay with Dojin or remains unhappy for the rest of his life or even possibly die. All because of the bond. Which ties into the omega x alpha stereotype & why I questioned if it was love.

I know what you mean. We have no idea how they truly feel; we can only speculate that this is the way it is. But I like how Fargo change the bonding here. In here, to bond, they don’t have to bite the nape of their neck. As long as they have feelings for each other, even just the slightest feelings will activate them to bond.

And in my opinion, I think Hyesung might probably choose to stay with Dojin if he have more time to convince Hyesung.

i completely understand where you're coming from and enjoyed what you wrote, your perspective opened my own. i struggled with liking hyesung's character because he always treated dojin poorly, and he also left his family after everything but i do sympathize. when looking at it overall i can understand the importance of gender roles but i dont think that is the defining point of their relationship. the possibility of them being together was based on mere coincidences. dojin hated omegas he spent years avoiding them, he could have walked away and left hyesung but he chose to stay, he even tried sleeping with another omega and couldn't stand his scent. if it weren't for all of these events they would not have been together but isn't that how all relationships are? these events are what makes a relationship without them there would be no story. if their paths weren't destined than dojin would have probably continued avoiding omegas and hyesung would have lived his life struggling and believing he was an alpha, but what kind of story is that.

when it comes to their love for each other it's truly a complicated situation. but i believe it to be genuine. hyesung spent so much of his life thinking he was an alpha and dojin ruined what he believed. he was envious that this alpha could live the life he dreamed of and dojin not letting him go made it worse. hyesung did end up "trapped" in a way because yes they bonded but i think their fate was decided the second dojin took responsibility for hyesung in chapter one and hyesung chose to live with him. if they hadn't bonded i do believe hyesung would have happily left the country but i also think he wouldn't have been able to stay away for long because of the family he left behind. however, we will never know and everything is up for each person's interpretation. possibly hyesung bonded with dojin because although he hated him there was a part of him that never wanted to leave, also he wasnt forced to make this bond.

when i go back and read the story i get annoyed by the plot, and the character's actions it's like watching a teen drama. but i put myself in the character's shoes and if my dreams were crushed by a stranger, and then that stranger tries to become my hero and take the part i dreamed of for myself i wouldn't be thrilled either. having your life ruined by the person you can't live without can't be easy. their relationship could have been more stable if they communicated better and expressed their concerns but this is a BL and something like that is rare to see. in short, the answer became an unbreakable bond and unplanned pregnancy.
